This bundle contains all 25 games from Phases 1, 2 and 3. This is the foundation base of phonological development which is so important for reading progress.

Each set has 45 WORD cards, nine SWITCH cards and nine PICK UP 2 cards. The WORD cards target specific skill deficits while the SWITCH and PICK UP 2 cards provide the fun. I have a free game for each of the phases in my store for you to try and the PREVIEW contains the word lists for all phases so you can check for suitability.

I have been developing this game for many years. I am convinced it works. I find all my intervention kids enjoy the strategy element and love to play over and over. Their phonemic skills improve markedly. I structure my intervention sessions with short games at the beginning and/or at the end and I sandwich the intensive teaching in between. I mix the phonic elements in the sets to suit the needs of the kids I am teaching.

The variety in this bundle means you can target the phonic skills you wish to develop in each session and your kids get the full benefit from explicit teaching plus playing. I even send them home for homework when I can. There is no better way to develop specific skills. You can also add the game to a Literacy Centre, especially if you have an intervention group who know how to play. This is a great way to consolidate skills inclusively.

I have similar sets of cards in my store:
SORT IT CARDS - This game has pictures and words that match and is designed for students who need lots of scaffolding.
DONKEY - This game has no match between pictures and words, ensuring the students must decode the words (just like this game). Donkey does not have the same level of strategising as SWITCHEROO.

I have used a DYSLEXIA FRIENDLY FONT which you can see in the PREVIEW.
