ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Learning-solutions, Education Consultant

I am a semi-retired primary teacher with a degree and experience in Learning Support.  During my 30 odd years teaching I was a classroom teacher, principal, guidance officer and learning support teacher.  I have had straight grades and multi-age classes in towns and communities all over Queensland.  My passion is differentiation and supporting all learners.

This poster is included in my DONKEY card games for equivalence.  The complete product also contains:

    • Set 1 - Decimal Fraction and picture
    • Set 2 - Fractions of 100 and picture
    • Set 3 - Fractions of 100 and simplified Fractions
    • Set 4 - Percentage and Picture
    • Set 5 - Simplified Fraction and Picture
    • + Directions
    • + 2 Conversion Tables (one includes percentage)

I have been teaching for over thirty years and now that I am sem-retired I just focus on learning support in literacy and numeracy at primary level.  When I was teaching seven grades in the one room I found it frustrating to organise my time to ensure every learner was learning every day.  I am spending my early retirement years upgrading and making my resources available.  Teaching is a demanding profession and I know how precious your time is, especially if you are committed to differentiating.

    Enjoy!
