It is an increasingly popular activity for teachers to sell their classroom activities, lesson plans, units of work, strategies for literacy and numeracy, or tools to help beginning teachers, or casual and relief teachers. Students are also selling their English sample essay structures or sample essay guides. Other popular subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics, PDHPE, Economics, History, and Extension subjects for their notes, summaries, practice questions, and diagrams.

Are there any benefits to selling and sharing for teachers and students? Can it really make a difference, or is it just “cheating”?

Is Education Failing Our Youth?


In over 100 years, education has not changed dramatically. We still run the same system today that we did all those years ago. Bells, classrooms, uncomfortable seating, prescribed content and mandated testing, but society and employment have moved beyond this paradigm. Sure, we no longer discriminate as to who can attend or what level someone can reach, but what changes have we really made? And have we lost the true essence of education?
